May 10, 2016 Market Recap (video)

I received some positive feedback regarding the market recap posted yesterday after the close using static charts & plan to do more of those going forward. As there are just too many important technical developments to cover with written commentary & static charts, tonight's recap is a more extensive, discussing some of today's key technical developments including the near-term outlook as well as touching on bigger picture/longer-term outlook for the US equity markets.

The following ETFs/indexes/sectors are discussed in this order: QQQ (start to the 18:30 mark) , SPY 18:30 - 21:28, $DXY (US Dollar index) 21:28 - 23:47, GLD 23:48 - 25:11, GDX 25:12 - 27:09, USO 27:10 -28:00, XLE 28:00 - 28: 44, and XOP 28:45 - 30:50

Great video, reassuring comments for us that have mostly short positions. Keep it up.

Nice video, thanks Randy, explains a lot of what’s going on, these videos are more educational than posts, but posts do update trade ideas faster!
    Thanks Randy!

Thanks for the feedback @pangblood & @teeps01 . I’ll continue to do both video & static updates going forward working towards more written commentary while reserving the videos for more in-depth or comprehensive sector or market updates.

Great video. I learn a huge amount from watching these & hearing your thoughts as you go through the charts, something which static posts don’t give.

I appreciate one is for those with time & static for those on the go. Perhaps a mixture of both going forward would be a good compromise.

Thanks again for a great video
