Really good video! Totally agree with the predator analogy and how I shouldnt read too much into the news. I’m learning alot these days and Im slowly getting a feel for this R/R trading concept. Thanx Randy

vodeux- I truly believe that patience is a virtue, especially when trading. I’ve never had a problem making money in the market, even as a rookie trader… the hard part has always been holding onto those gains & not giving them back to Mr. Market following a profitable run.
Traderitis (over-trading) can be hard to resist, especially when you’re not cognizant that you are doing it. I try to keep a relatively steady trickle of trade ideas flowing on the site, not for the sake of simply posting content but more so for the fact that I will share any trade ideas that I come across that look compelling. Plus, while I might be taking some time off trading for various reasons, others might be actively engaging the markets & doing quite well, especially if it’s “their” kind of trading environment but the kind of market that I try to stay away from. I often state how ever trader must find their own unique trading style in order to know which trades to take & which to pass on (as well as when to actively trade & when to keep things light or step aside). Thanks for the feedback on the video & best of luck on your trades. -Randy

Fantastic video, thank you Randy! Its always great to hear your personal thoughts and strategies on how to trade the market. I esp. enjoyed the last part on where we are in the 5 Elliot Waves, I need to adopt a longer term outlook as you showed here, which is very helpful to understand macro picture and just how long this bull market has been. I’ve only started trading 3 years ago, so never seen or experienced a bear market before!
