Shipping Sector Trade Ideas pt. 3 (video)

I continue to see bullish developments in the shipping sector with numerous stocks set up for potentially explosive gains, should the momentum players step in once again. In fact, quite a few of the recently highlighted individual shipping stocks as well as the shipping etf, SEA, have just recently broken above the key breakpoint levels that were highlighted in the recent videos & trading room updates. While the historic & expected volatility of many of the individual shipping stocks can be extreme at time, it appears that the potential returns make the shipping sector one of the most promising trading & investing opps at this time. This video highlights some of my favorite trade ideas within the sector including key support & resistance levels as well as price targets.

Great analysis, as usual. Picked up some KEX just in case this sector starts running more as you think it may.

Randy is KEX a buy trigger over 64.35? Thanks

    I meant to say 64.47 not 64.35.

Lee- Ideally KEX needs to clear & remain above last Thursday’s reaction high of 63.62 & if so, it should run. It poked above that level briefly today but quickly fell back. That pop earlier today was on decent volume but the stock has mostly traded between 63-63.50 on somewhat muted volume since. I still like it & own it but think that at this point, it would be prudent to see the stock take out 63.62 & even better, today’s high of 64.60 before establishing or adding to a position.

@rsotc – do you think that if the broader market starts going down, the shippers will go down as well?
