as i’m updating the trades ideas today, i’m going to remove the primary indexes ($SPX, $NDX, $RUT, etc..) and their respective tracking etf’s (SPY, QQQ, IWM, etc…) from the Active Trade Ideas category.  the current active shorts on these primary (broad) indices have been active since just before the market peaked this year and have hit one or more of their targets already.  although i still have one or more additional downside target listed for these trades, i do so many posts on the index chart (or their tracking etf’s), on so many time frames (1 minute charts all the way out to monthly charts) that it probably makes more sense to just categorize those posts exclusively under “General Market Analysis” (which falls under “Market Analysis” along with the “Gold/Commodities sub-category) vs. also tagging all those posts under the Set-ups, Active Trades, and/or Completed Trades categories.  this will help with my goal of streamlining the trade ideas sections as to make them as user friendly as possibly.  for those who prefer trading the indexes vs. individual stocks or sector etfs, you can still utilize these charts under the “General Market Analysis” section or by selecting the symbol (e.g. SPY or QQQ) under the “Posts by Symbol” drop-down box on the right of the page.
