In lieu of a closing market wrap video, I figured that I would post the 60-minute charts of the major stock index ETFs & futures instead. QQQ (Nasdaq 100 ETF) closed below the primary uptrend line with the next sell signal to come on a solid break & 60-minute close below 211.96.
/NQ (Nasdaq 100 futures) is backtesting the 60-minute bear flag from below as it continues to test the 8690 support with the next sell signal to come on a break below this reaction low.
No technical change in the posture of SPY today following yesterday’s extension of the existing divergences. As per the video from earlier today, the suggested stop was suspended again today as the charts continue to indicate a likely correction with SPY still trading near the top of the 3-week trading range.
We have a potential Head & Shoulders topping pattern forming on /ES (S&P 500 futures) following the recent divergent high & breakdown below the uptrend line with the next sell signal to come on a break below the neckline.
