although we had a new all-time low in 10 year US treasury bond yields today while TLT (20+ yr treasury bond etf), which moves inversely to bond yields broke out to a new all-time high (a bullish technical event), this chart could be foreshadowing that a major reversal in bonds may be close at hand.
i will follow-up with some additional bond price and yield charts tomorrow but if one was inclined to start scaling into a treasury bond short starting tomorrow, a couple of the more liquid etf’s are TBT , the 20+ year treasury short 2x leveraged etf…the 2x inverse to TLT or PST, the 2x leverage 7-10 year treasury short etf. again, i plan to do an in-depth review of various bonds tomorrow for any potential trading or even possibly long-term investment opportunities.
