/LB (lumber futures) offers an aggressive short entry here around the 850-900ish resistance level with potential (but unconfirmed) divergences on the 60-minute to daily time frames. 120-minute chart below.

Again, this would be considered an aggressive, counter-trend trade as we don’t have any sell signals on lumber at this time nor are the negative divergences confirmed (via a bearish crossover on the PPO to put in a lower low on that indicator). With that being said, I believe the R/R is favorable for a short entry here around the 900 level (or somewhat below) with a stop about 5% above entry while targeting the 734-760 support zone below (~15-20% gain, if hit). To the best of my knowledge, there isn’t an ETF or ETN that directly tracks lumber futures with the closest thing WOOD & CUT (ETFs that hold a basket of timber & forestry stocks). Lumber futures are also relatively thinly traded (wide spreads at times) so if you are not familiar with trading lumber futures or this type of aggressive trade does not mesh with your trading style or risk tolerance, it might be best to pass on this one.
