My reply to a follower of the site as to my thoughts on AVAV (Aerovironment Inc) below. I may add this one as an official trade idea & if so, exact suggested profit targets & stops will follow. Until then, here are my thoughts, the AVAV daily chart, along with a summary of the company.

No, I hadn’t looked at it until you mentioned it & it looks to be at a pretty decent horizontal resistance level right now. If it can clearly take this level out, it looks like AVAV may be poised for a new primary uptrend. The price action since late November looks like a potential basing formation in the stock. Here’s a daily chart with some price targets. Best to wait for prices to take out the 200ema (27.42 today) and to see some volume (at least 1.5x the 60 or 90 day average volume) start to coming into the stock, should it take out the 27.42 level. It would also be prudent to wait for a solid daily close and maybe even a weekly close above the 200-day ema before taking a full position.
