Thx for the heads up. Fundamentals on most stocks & the broad market are being cast aside for the time being with the retail crowd whipped up in a buying frenzy & the summer-doldrums low volume. As you said, all we can do right now is play the charts (technicals) & ignore the fundamentals until they start to matter.

APTIV price action/technicals is one of the better-looking longs I’ve found lately but as with any trade, it either pans out or not & that “not” part is what stops are for.

Also, keep in mind that APTIV had plunged nearly 75% off its late 2021 high at the recent lows so if you do want to factor in fundamentals, one should ask: How much of that bad news/forecast for the truck market has already been priced into the stock from those in-the-know??

The plan sponsor (employer) determines the investment choices offered to their employees. Most employers do not even choose self directed brokerage accounts as an option. In other words fidelity can offer whatever they want but the sponsor will likely not choose but a few options.

Be careful with Aptiv. They are a supplier in my industry. The truck market is down about 36% from Q4 2024 forecast. Play the charts, but don’t think they are in a great position as a company.
