Randy - thanks for the analysis.

AMZN and BA both seem to present nice bearish setups with negative divergence and rising wedge patterns. Can you comment on these two stocks?

In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/intc-intel-technical-analysis-price-targets/#comment-16646">Divergent Low Account Balance</a>.

Yep. Capt. J. Powell & his minions at the Fed probably discussing plans to have the big tech co's classified as TBTF (too big to fail) like the big banks. Gotta keep those stock buyback plans for AAPL, FB, INTC, etc.. humming along to keep the bubble inflated.. all at the taxpayer's expense, of course.

All kidding aside, I've seen some statistics recently which attributed all of the gains in the stock market in recent years to stock buybacks. They netted out the factor of the impact of 'real' buying (investors & institutions such as hedge funds, mutual funds, pension plans, etc..), which showed net outflows, and the study determined that the gains in recent years (I can't recall the exact timeframe) was 100%+ driven by corp buybacks. No way the Fed can print enough $$ to save the credit markets as well as pump enough $ into the system to make up for the buyback programs that have already been suspended with more likely to cease going forward, especially in industries that are sucking off the gov'ts teat via bailout & other subsidies that were recently implemented (e.g.- banks, airlines, & the automakers are on the dole now, which means they can't (or better not) turn around & use that $$ to buy back their stock)
