Yes & although Godot never showed up, the next big rally in the $VIX will come sooner or later, sooner if QQQ & SPY can take out last Friday’s lows, IMO.

I don’t have a strong opinion on BTAL but can say that 1) it is currently testing a very well-defined & steep downtrend line, which could trigger a buy signal if clearly taken out & 2) the chart looks like an EKG, or similar to the $VIX, with BTAL rallying during market corrections & rising volatility while in downtrend when & as volatility abates.

As such, if we can get those next sell signals on the broad market (SPY & QQQ taking out last Friday’s lows) then that will likely spark a rally in BTAL. Here’s my daily chart.

Oh yeah… #3) BTAL is quite oversold. Note the bottoms & rallies that followed previous similar oversold (sub-30 RSI) readings.

Corn will almost always follow wheat up & down (or vice versa). Plus, /ZC corn future buy signal to come on a solid break above this 120m bullish falling wedge & the intersecting 408ish price resistance.

I didn’t realize until yesterday how wheat typically moves in small channels up and down. It’s moved like that for years. A trader could just bounce from low to high in the channel over and over. It does look like the short term downward trend has changed.

Now I need corn to get the memo
