Which calls did you use for the trade? I took the trade with the actual shares – did ok but thinking next commodity trade maybe i’ll use calls. It looks like premium on weat options are reasonable.

I looked at a few of the BEACH stocks and the relative weakness in the cruise lines today, (Carnival -3.5%, Norwegian -4%) makes me think that the covid resurgence trade is on. I bought some puts on Live Nation LYV today. 20 Aug 21 $80 P.

RSI is close to oversold on the daily chart, but the trendline from the covid lows was broken this week.

The weekly looks more like a clear short. RSI and PPO are in favor. Nice clean break of the covid trend

I sold half of my calls on weat to lock in 1/2 of the 70% gain in 6 trading days (thanks for the suggestion Randy) and used the proceeds to buy the LYV puts.

It is heartbreaking to have things slow down or shut down because of the virus. Nothing we can do about it other than stay safe. Might as well try to profit from whatever will happen.
