Good question. I follow & post 3 different charts (each on various time frames) of wheat:

$WHEAT: Which is the ticker for the continuous futures contract for wheat futures on stockcharts.com. I prefer that chart (which is the first one in the post you referenced) for the long-term weekly chart that spans decades.

/ZW is the current (front month/quarter) futures contract of wheat, which is my preferred trading vehicle in my active trading account.

WEAT is the Treucrium Wheat Fund ETN, which is what most retail traders (especially those that don’t trade futures) will use… nay, rather the only way to trade wheat besides wheat futures. I will also use WEAT in my tax-deferred accounts (IRAs & Coverdell ESAs) so I do have to screw around with the PITA K-1’s at tax time.

@rsotc – In your original trade post on grains at https://rightsideofthechart.com/wheat-soybeans-corn-trade-updates-6-25-25 there are 3 ETNs – WEAT, CORN, and SOYB. While CORN and SOYB look OK, WEAT does not look at all like Teucrium Wheat Fund, which now trades around $20 range. Can you please check if you have the right chart in there or whether I am misreading something.
