yes nearly every day Randy post QQQ chart showing big yellow arrows going down like 30-40%, NVDA down like 80% from here.. Funny because he really believes he’s doing great on his calls.

Indeed, the measured move out of the big two-year cup-and-handle pattern does project SPX up to around 6000.

QQQ swing trade up to 470 on that weekly Bull flag should play out by the end of the first quarter 2025 based on the October 2022 lows, just to clarify.

If you look at the QQQ weekly chart from the October lows there seems to be a clear bull flag that takes the QQQ to 470 by the end of the second quarter! That’s only 10% from here! Randy, please keep us posted on any potential tradable zigzags between here and there. Other than a Black Swan event I think this is a QQQ Bull swing trade that should play out.

If NVDA release blowout earnings, Our SL will be hit not just above the $629.5 but it could gap up to $700 and encounter bigger loss that anticipated!

I wouldn’t short the SEMI’s with NVIADIA earnings coming up…
In fact I wouldn’t short ANYTHING these days.
We’re going to keep making marginal new highs to S&P 6000 this year.
And NVIDIA is going to carry the NASDAQ to new highs all by itself.

Need to see a SOLID intraday breakout and/or (even better) daily close above 18.90 on IEP, ideally on 1.5x or better avg volume. Most charting programs or trading platforms will provide 60, 90, or 100-day average volume for a stock. Breakouts that occur on 1.5x or better avg volume have a much better chance of sticking.

Keep in mind IEP is scheduled to report in 2-3 weeks, if I recall correctly. So additional risk taking a stock on a breakout shortly before earnings.
