Just in case u r not. Start getting experience with the micro contracts. A lot of them start with /M . Money appears and disappears very quickly with these financial instruments.

At times but right now, it doesn’t appear that Treasuries are at a level where the stock market is hyper-sensitive to its daily gyrations. Treasuries seems to have been marching to their own drumbeat lately but should they continue to fall (i.e.- yields rally) substantially from here, the stock market will take note sooner than later.

To clarify, I’d say that the holding periods on swing trades typically range from a couple of weeks to a few months but that can vary widely depending on the particular security, the time frame the trade is based off, volatility in the market or that particular security (e.g.- commodity) at the time, etc..

Regarding futures, no. I typically go with the current contract that has the most volume (liquidity) & then roll to the next contract, if I’m still in the trade once it is time to roll forward to the next contract. You might want to do a web search regarding rolling futures contracts.
