In reply to hotrodricky.

I have a support level on my TVIX daily chart at 14.09 so if you're asking if I think TVIX will get there, I'd say the odds are decent, especially if the market can rally & gain another 1-2%+ today or early next week. I really don't have a strong opinion on whether or not TVIX will drop that much (another ~10% or so) or not before the next thrust higher but I can say that my next swing target is the downtrend line that was already hit once on the recent rally in TVIX followed by the 24.74 level.

Appreciate your insight, Randy.
Agree can go either way, but found the DH and DL method very effective. Most of the time it seems to be correct.
Went short Qs 15-20 minutes ago, looks like I might have gotten lucky and nailed the top.

In this case, insanity would be NOT doing the same thing again or expecting different results this time around. I went short in my active trading account after each of those divergent highs (and at least twice with swing trade positions), closing all (the active trades, still short the second swing position, closed out the first swing short off the highs right off the Aug 5th lows as posted at the time) out for profitable trades. As such, the "not sane" choice would be to pass on shorting a break below those most recent uptrend lines once again, should these divergences remain intact if/when the sell signals trigger.
