I realize that I misread your question, XLE was shared as a short trade idea in this post but I had already shared both crude & nat gas as short trade ideas on several occasions over the past week as well. If I wasn’t bearish on oil & gas, I wouldn’t be shorting the energy stocks.

XLY most likely headed down with the rest of the market in the coming weeks to months but has decent support around 173.50 on the daily char that it needs to take out first, then 161.50 (first target, next support).
