Hi Randy, off the top in early 2008, we had a tradeable range btw 125 and 140 in the SPY. Not as well defined as our current 260 to 280 range. There were only two visits to the top and bottom before an overshoot to 145 and then the start of a new leg down. Maybe on Monday we trade down as low as 253 to 258 and start a multiweek advance to 285 and then start a new leg down. Is that kind of what you are thinking? Almost feel like the Algo's are changing the game and keeping us in the range too long and also maybe suppressing the VIX? Please comment if you have time.
