Best way to trade the $VIX is to go long when you have a pretty high degree of confidence that a correction in the market is coming (and/or underway with more room to run). Additionally, while I often provide price targets on $VIX, VXX, etc.., it is better to time the entries &amp; exits on those positions with the entries &amp; exits on the stock indexes since a drop to support on the stock indexes (as we had so far today) will usually result in bounce which, in turn, will usually be the inflection point for the $VIX.]]></description>
