On the case to go long: Big positive divergence on the daily chart of TTD, oversold, & a potential selling climax in play (sharp drop after a prolonged downtrend/bear market on high volume).

On the flip side: The stock is solidly in a bear market with little to no technical evidence of a bottom or reversal. Positive divergences & overbought readings are conditions, not buy signals (and conditions that can continue to persist for some time.

Bottom line: You could always take a shot with a starter position & try to catch that falling knife and/or wait for some half-decent or better technical evidence, such as a bullish candlestick reversal pattern; additional evidence of a selling climax, etc., & then take a position or add to a starter taken here with a stop not too far below.

I just can’t make a strong case to step in & buy TTD at this time, but feel free to bump me on it again.
