NFLX clipped the suggested stop but still looks good on both the daily & weekly time frames, with the same price targets from the recent trade. However, it has no business taken out the recent lows at this time so best to keep stops somewhat tight IMO ..and watch the broad market, XLK, & Mag 8 stocks for any additional sell signals, as well as the potential for some of the recent sell signals to be undone (bullish).

We have a couple of potential market-moving reports on the economic calendar tmrw (Fri) but the most likely catalyst would be a post-earnings drop on NVDA & rejection off the resistance levels I highlighted in this post (or a false breakout above that fails next week): https://rightsideofthechart.com/charts-im-watching-today-2-26-26/

That would be the most obvious & if that doesn’t happen, we should see new highs in the market by the end of this week or next. I’ll also be watching the key stocks (Mag 8 & others) and sectors (financials, tech, etc..) to see if any or all of the recent sell signals that were triggered are reversed (quite bullish if most/all are).

No, I wasn’t, but NVDA earnings are now out of the way & the $VIX (/VIX futures) are still trading on that trendline. I was highlighting that although I wasn’t reading into or acting on much that happened in the market, key stocks, or sectors today, I did & still do think any of the $VIX tracking instruments offered & still offer an objective entry or add-on with stops somewhat below.
