I’ve been watching SLV (as well as PPLT & PALL) running lately but I’ve been standing aside as I prefer to go long or short silver when I can also make a case to go long or short gold. GLD continues to be locked into a sideways trading range so I’d prefer to see which way gold breaks before doing anything with silver.

Based on the negative divergences on both, plus the recent bearish engulfing candle on GLD, there’s a decent chance this breakout & SLV might soon fail, but again, not enough clarity on the next trend in gold for me to want to engage silver at this time. Here are the daily charts of both.

I don’t have much of an opinion on FLG other than to say it has been grinding around in this sideways trading range since early 2024, so a solid breakout above or below it will likely determine the next tradable trend in the stock. Until then, the only play I see is to buy/cover the bottom of the range & sell/short rallies into the top of the range with stops not too far on the other side of it. Here’s my daily chart.

if you get a chance can you check out FLG. Looks like a possible bear flag with further downside but i’m not sure.
