I think SOXS might be fine to use for shorting the semis this time around as I see the most probable scenario being a relatively uni-directional, swift move down. During such trends with very little give-back &amp; sideways chop, the 3x ETFs can return 3x the return of the underlying sector in in some cases, actually return better than 300% the returns to of the sector. I provide a detailed explanation on this on the FAQ page (under the ETF related questions).

Again, SOXS should be fine assuming that my read on the charts is correct but could suffer from decay if the sector chops around for an extended period of time before hitting the profit target(s) or stop-loss.]]></description>
