Another (and bigger) divergent low on BIDU with earnings coming up (I had highlighted the last DL in late ’24 around earnings & the stock popped from there.. but only a bear market rally). So while the stock has much bigger divergences right now & that could certainly be the technical catalyst for a much larger rally & even potential bottom, just keep in mind that divergent lows often get burned through in bear markets.

With that being said, you might be on the lookout for any type of potential bullish reversal/bottoming candlestick pattern and/or a breakout above that intersecting 95ish price + downtrend line resistance for a buy signal. G-luck if you take it.

Sure. I’ll post those charts one at a time starting here with JD. I already had the charts of those 3 big Chinese stocks mostly marked up & want to add I don’t have a strong opinion on where they go from here as uncertainty for the US is one thing right now but with China much more dependent on the US for trade than we are for them, I can rarely recall another point in time where a change in the fundamentals (both the trade war & now what is likely an impending & potentially powerful global recession) have the ability to override the technicals (charts).

Basicially, JD is coming up on nice price support with trendline support just below that, so an objective entry/scale-in zone with stops somewhat below the uptrend line.That doesn’t take into account my longer-term bearish outlook on the US & global markets but of course, that take might prove to be wrong. Just highlighting the objective long entry.

Personally, I prefer shorting the miners (GDX and/or select mining stocks) and/or silver but either way, those will need gold to reverse to start getting any decent traction to the downside.

Gold is in what very much looks like a blow-off top. That could continue this week or longer or end today. As such, personally I wouldn’t consider anything close to full position size short on the miners or metals until there is at least half-decent evidence of a reversal/top in gold.
