					<description><![CDATA[With all due respects, the long terms charts support the case that the dollar will continue to rise which in turn is negative for gold. Please look at the GLD:UPP chart which shows a clear &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;A downtrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of lower lows &#038; lower highs.&#039;&gt;downtrend&lt;/abbr&gt; in which the 50 day MA has fallen below the 200, 20 and 10 day MA&#039;s in a downtrend that looks like it has more to go - to last year&#039;s low and possibly to the 2017 or 2016 lows. Also, UPP looks like it is forming a bullish flag. This is consistent with current economic conditions in wihich the Euro continues to weaken to due weaker economic condittions while the US economy is still growing abeit at a slower rate that last year.]]></description>
