I took a starter position today. This was based on the chart and divergence. Also a play on geopolitics. Winter wheat crop is planted in Sept/oct. Russia will be looking to pay Ukraine back for the counter attack. Unfortunately I think it’s likely to have an attack that impacts planting. (the winter crop accounts for 90%of Ukraine’s wheat production

I really don’t know what to tell you on wheat other than it just can’t seem to catch & hold a bid lately despite the pattern of incremental new & still divergent lows that see it start to rally, only to have those rallies get sold into once they start to appear to get going. I’m keeping the grains on my radar but better fish to fry elsewhere for the time being IMO.
