NAiled it!

Took a minute, but ZM finally hit the first price target that I laid out back in mid-2023 (chart below) after slightly extending the divergent low that I highlighted back then. I was right about T1 (85.15ish) coming in as a resistance level, as you can see that’s what’s been capping the stock recently.

As such, a solid break above T1 should open the door to my next target (T2) & quite likely much more, as ZM has been building a huge base & T1 looks like the level that will spark a much more sustained rally. (updated chart also included below).

Buffett’s holding period is measured in years vs. what is typically days, weeks, or months (depending on the chart) on my trades. The case to stick with UNH was made in the post above, but I would put very high odds on a reaction off that 379/gap backfill target, if hit. BRKB can’t maneuver as fast & nimble as an individual swing trader, so if I put good odds that a long position I’m in is going to have a likely & decent pullback, I’m going to book profits and/or reverse it to short (and maybe buy back long at lower levels, after the pullback).

I bought UNH based on the bullish technicals (despite it being a catch-a-falling-knife trade) just as we did PEP a few months earlier. That one was also booked at the final target for a nice, quick profit…well before the news came out that Elliot had taken a big stake (and that was the kiss of death or suck in move for the dumb money…with the stock taking from there).
