In reply to santarally.

Fundamentally, the cross-currents on TSLA is interesting to me: Musk all chummy with Trump now, helping him on the campaign trail yet Trump is very much anti-EV, the media even citing how F & GM rallied after the Trump win because of that. Either way, will be interesting to see how far nepotism will go towards helping TSLA.

Technically (charts), TSLA has rallied into pretty significant long-term resistance while overbought with big divergences between price & the momentum indicators. The last time TSLA was in a similar technical posture (strong rally into resistance with negative divergence) was right when the stop peaked in mid-July '23, wiping out about half the company's market cap in the drop that followed.

As with back then, nearly everyone was bullish because of the strength of the current trend... but not everyone:

It's a simple mechanical trade: Short an overbought rally into resistance with divergences in place. It either pans out or not & the suggested stop offers a nice R/R IMO, especially considering the potential for additional targets, should TSLA & the market reverse soon.

Hi Randy, don't you think a parabolic move coming in TSLA to all time highs. It looks strong on the daily, weekly charts and there is no sign of reversal yet. IMO it may shoot 415 this month.
