In reply to E.. They are somewhat related both being in the healthcare industry but UNH is not a biotech stock so no, not so much other than the fact that a bear market in the biotechs would most likely coincide with a bear market in the broader healthcare sector, thereby putting pressure on UNH.

Many consider the 50/200-day MA crossovers as bullish and I do as well. As such, that was a check-mark for the bullish case and remains one as long as the 50 trades above the 200. The is & has been a lot of conflicting signals/evidence on the longer-term trend indicators since Q4 ’18, with some indicators bearish and some bullish.

Do you ever consider 50/200 cross over as bullish ? I understand there are some resistance up there soon…. but it is just keep going up and up…..just wondering…

We are re-living 2007…history doesn’t repeat…it rhymes. We know this rally is not sustainable, and when the elastic band gets stretched too far, you know what happens. They (Fed, Trump, MSM) can try to push this market higher, but it is losing momentum and will eventually snap back. We all need to be liquid and patient. Easier said than done.

I just don’t get it. 32% move up in a single f***in quarter. No one around my personal circle sees an issue, and yet, the market grinds higher and higher every day. My portfolio is down 13% since December, and the whole market seems to make zero sense anymore..
