You're a great trader Randy, light years better than me. Guess I'm just surprised by your comments on options trading. It's just not your thing. I consistently do the best trading options. Knowing my downside is limited makes it easy to leave the computer when I have to go to work or holding overnight or whatever. I'll try to post more but i'm not always able to post since i just trade part time. I only have one options trade on right now and if anyone is interested I am holding deep in the money June (or is it July? can't look it up right now) call options on SAND that I bought in December for a paltry 15 cent/share premium wagering gold would be higher at any point in the following 6 or 7 months. Why on earth didn't I buy more? And why have I already sold half for a profit? .... lol What a worry free trade that has been …. multiplying upside potential and while using and risking far less capital than someone buying shares. I may do the rare thing and actually keep the rest till expiry. Thanks for all you do, Randy. I've done good in JO and UNG of late. Just wish I were able to catch more of your great trades.

Thank you so much Randy. I took a starter position this morning, would add more if it gains some strength next week

Best to post chart requests of securities not covered in or related to the front page posts in the trading room instead of the comment section below the home page posts but now that you mentioned soybeans & I just took a look at my /ZS (futures) chart for the first time today, it appears to offer an objective long entry here on this pullback to dual support levels: uptrend line + the 888.174 price support.
However, /ZS has already stopped trading for the day so we'll need to see how they open next week. Feel free to bump me again (under any of the most recent home page posts) again on Monday if I haven't posted an update on we see how the open for the week. Here's my 60-min chart.

I can tell you from doing this for many years that a lot of retail traders ride options into expiration worthless. Given, not the right thing to do & I have no doubt there are a lot of retail traders out there that trade options successfully, especially those that use the risk-limiting strategies such as credit spreads, covered calls, etc.. Just trying to pass along some potential advice to those new to trading/investing that might be lured in by the low cost & high-leverage factor that options offer (risk a few hundred buck & potentially make a few thousand). Risk & return go hand-in-hand & leverage cuts both ways. Thx for your feedback & as always, options trade ideas/strategies are welcomed on any of the trade ideas covered on the home page and any other options trades are welcomed in the trading room.
