YW. The timing of that Dec dividend with TLT hitting T1 worked out well. Certainly on the low-end of gains for the official trades that I usually post but to make any $ on a multi-week long trade over the past few months should be considered a success & with the oversized position due to the relatively low risk & volatility of Treasury bonds, it worked out well.

I try to use the leveraged ETFs judiciously, mainly when I suspect a strong, mostly unidirectional move in a trade and also for relatively quick trades as the decay from the leverage works against you otherwise. One would usually do better just buying 2x or 3x as much as the non-leveraged ETF than they would going with the 2x or 3x leveraged variation.
