The breakout in IWM could certainly stick & if the slew of big economic reports on Wed before the market opens doesn't knock the market back down below today's candle then I would have to say that the odds that it will stick will have increased. By all means, one could take today's breakout (go long IWM, /RTY, TNA, etc.) but over the years it has just been my preference to refrain from taking breakouts that occur during the Thanksgiving trading week as I've seen big one-day gains (and losses) similar to today's gains prove to be a one-day wonder with the market reversing shortly afterward & most of the breakout (or breakdowns) on individual stocks that occurred that daily soon failing.
If going long IWM or pretty much anything today, just make sure to have an exit plan if the trade doesn't pan out but also be aware that the risk of a gap in either direction any day this week, especially Wednesday (that could bypass a well-placed stop) is an elevated risk at this time IMO.

Thanks for the reply Randy!! So then we should assume if the data out on wends is good then the breakout will hold and be a good place to start a long position in IWM? Please let us know if you think the breakout will stick Tony

By "report-outs", do you mean the actual results of the report after it is released? If so, you can click on the title of the report to view the details.
The screenshot of the calendar that I posted above is from Econoday. To access the calendar, click on the 'Resources' on the top menu of this site which will open the RSOTC.com Support Center. The second container down on the right (Tools Of The Trade) contains a link to the calendar. Once you open it, click on the report that you are interested. Viewing the report in advance will give you the consensus estimate for most reports & if you click on the report following the release, you will get the actual number(s) as well as some commentary about the report which is worth reading IMO as sometimes there is more to a report than just the headline number. You might also want to click the "Why Investors Care" link below the report details to learn more about any specific report.

In reply to Dean Drummond.

There are likely to be a lot of breakouts this week, especially with today's impulsive rally & although some or even many of those will likely stick, over many years of trading, I have found it best to sit on my hands & pass on breakouts that occur during the abbreviated Thanksgiving trading week as the chances of breakouts failing are considerably higher than usual.
Yes, IWM does appear to be breaking out with an impulsive break above the 159.40ish resistance level & this breakout may very well end of sticking but today's candle looks nearly identical to the big green candle from early May when IWM also broke out impulsively above the 159.40ish level, also with negative divergence as it has now & that wasn't even during a typically low-volume holiday trading week & you can see what happened to IWM back then.
To be clear, I have zero desire to short this breakout expecting it to fail. Rather I just prefer to sit back & watch how the market & other securities trade this week to help avoid taking breakouts that might end up failing. Even if this was just a Thanksgiving trading week without any potentially big market-moving reports I would sit tight but that trio of big economic reports one hour before the market opens on Wednesday could cause a very big gap up or down in the market that day which is one more reason for me to refrain from taking all but the most convincing breakouts, if that. Here's my daily chart of IWM.
