In reply to rsotc. To be more accurate, my plan includes not adding any more shorts other than those added around current levels in the AH session after Trump's TACO announcement. If & when the indexes fall back below their 200-day MA's, that will be an objective time to re-entry or add to any stock market-related shorts, including SOXX or SOXS, IMO. However, I'll need to confirm that with the charts of SOXX, XSD, & the top semiconductor stocks at that time.

SOXX is positively correlated to the stock market, particularly the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ), except it has a higher beta (tends to go up more on up days in QQQ, down more on down days). As such, my plan, as recently stated with QQQ, is to wait to see if QQQ falls back into the bounce target zone I've been highlighting on the daily chart before adding any more stock market-related shorts, such as SOXX or any individual semis. The top of that bounce target zone is the intersecting downtrend line off the Jan high & 200-day SMA.

I’m not getting any audio on your TACO report … keep in mind if the Aba-Daba Mullas don’t open the Strait and don’t agree to stop their Nuclear program during the cease fire President Trump reserves the right to commence bombing at anytime! It’s not an automatic 2 week window to allow the Chinese or Russians two weeks to re-supply Iran unlike President Potato head would allow!
