In reply to Dkpdkp. Based on one of his last UNG updates, he’s looking for UNG to break above T1 …. No timeframe advised. Set an alert at T1 and go fishing. My observation is storage technology has advanced and capacity has expanded so rapidly that it would take another stupid move by Russia attacking Germany this time to move the needle. NatGas is making Tulips look interesting … hey Randy, could you graph Tulip bulbs? LOL

In reply to KevinK. There is no bottom in UNG. It undergoes periodic reverse-splits to keep it from going below 0. It is a faulty, piece of crap ETN that should only be used as a day-trading vehicle or a long-term short. Better to trade the futures, and not just the front month. If bullish, best to buy multiple contract expirations. Also, you should look at the charts of multiple expirations, which if you did you would see that all contracts are in severe bear markets currently.

UNG went from almost $8 to $ 5.50 in a month and a half.

I’ve seen in the past where you said you give more weight to the longer term chart vs the shorter. The daily bearish PPO crossover looks imminent as you said. However, QQQ did a bullish PPO crossover on the weekly chart last week. Not sure if you saw that? Thoughts?
