a gap in and of itself doesn't have to be impulsive, and visa versa, an impulsive move doesn't have to be a gap

Hi Randy, thanks as always for your analyses as usual. I was thinking a fair bit about how you've noted that one of the signs of a bear market rally finally reaching its end is when the sellers have become to capitulate and the buyers become overconfident. It seems like the RSI would be an appropriate gauge of that sentiment on a longer time frame (e.g. overbought on something like daily), which could be confirmed by negative divergences that you spot on the hourly. Do you have thoughts on that and how it looked on previous bear market rallies?

Randy uses the example of a gap up/or down to define "impulsive" move. I have trouble seeing these gaps on my charts because they include after-hours activity. Anybody know how to switch that off/on in thinkorswim?

I don't know much about AG commodities but I suspect fuel and fertilizer (the manufacture and transport) are a huge input cost and these have fallen off a cliff so unless there is a sector rotation afoot I'm thinking these AG commodities could be low for a long time and go lower until oil goes much higher. Any thoughts?

Randy, do you have an opinion on SNAP. Would the rally fades if the rest of the market pulls down? <a class='bp-suggestions-mention' href='https://rightsideofthechart.com/members/rsotc/' rel='nofollow'>@rsotc</a>
