@rsotc and community, for what its worth, wife and I just came back from Costco today 4/18/2020 on a Saturday. I will have to see how this will come into play on earnings season as many companies will "get away" with not giving guidance due to the virus but here is what I saw:

- Usually on Saturdays we are waiting for parking stalls to open up but parking lot was 3/4 full at best and I got the closest parking I've ever gotten on a Saturday in no time
- On their recording/speakers, they kept repeating store hours which now ends at 6pm.
- They are restricting how many customers to let in at a time and that took 2-3 (to me) "extra" staff members
- Aisles were not as crowded as expected. Not one person I saw had a TV, high ticket item, etc in their carts
- Lots of high ticket grocery items such as steak, charcuterie, salmon, etc full of stock. Pallet of $6.99 Cup o Noodles were empty. I bought a case. lol!
- Produce and dairy products were overflowing which makes me think about waste and how this will affect farmers and their economy
- Most customer's carts were about 1/4 to 1/2 full instead of the normal overflowing carts we are used to seeing. Carts consisted of basic food necessities
- I felt as though many people were there just to be there and to just walk around and get out of the house. I am guilty of that.
- My total receipt was $110.17. $60 of it was renewing my annual membership as I didnt realize it expired. Yup, I spent $45 on food ($14 of which was a bottle of wine. haha) This made me think....if people aren't going to Costco during this time and their membership expires, that means membership revenue will decline for them. It just so happened we went today and found out my membership needed renewal upon checkout.
- Other than that, now truly feel as though COST should not be up here at these prices. What I am thinking about is how this virus is going to change the way we shop. If people have been getting items delivered for the past 2 months and will continue that, I have to think about what stocks/companies, will benefit from that. Maybe it is time to think deliveries, drones, etc will come into play now.

Anyway, going to take today to read and relax, then back at studying the stock market and stocks tomorrow for another week of trading. Stay safe everyone.

SPPP (which I got stopped on) is available for shorting (at about 18% annual), it's 86% palladium, 14% platinum - https://sprott.com/media/2090/sppp.pdf

I am not sure why Randy hasn't covered it. It's relatively low volume though so it moves a bit random at times.
