Technically, the bottom of the gap would be the closing price the day before the gap occurred although in some cases, as with BYND, I like to set a line where/if there are more reactions... i.e.- the most obvious support around the tops & bottoms of a gap. In the case of BYND, I have that line at 105.87 but I also like to go long just before a support level which I expect a bounce from.
I closed out that starter position that I took at the top of the gap today for a loss but I plan to soon take another starter position (1/3rd to 1/2) again around 108 & if BYND reversed before then & moves back above the gap, I might take the starter position there.

We're going to hit the bottom of the gap, likely now. What about a bounce from there? At what price would you put the bottom of the gap?

I have a starter position that I took yesterday that I am given just a little more room on the stop even though it entered the gap today. BYND still has potential bullish (positive) divergence on the 60m time frame and it is not unusual to see a brief & relatively minor overshoot of a support level when a stock has fallen to it during a fairly strong downtrend, as BYND has.
If the stock continues much lower I will close out the trade & if it reverses and takes out yesterday's highs I will add to it.

I stopped out on BYND when it entered the gap. Would you wait to see if it trades to the bottom of the gap or look for another entry near the top of the gap?

I still like the setup on ACB although it is still just that for now, a trade setup which is a potential trade pending an entry on a breakout. Not sure if you caught this post on ACB yesterday or not but it appears to me that the stock needs break above the 3.85 R level on the 60-minute chart in that post which will also have taken it above the downtrend line on the daily.
If you want to greatly increase the odds that said breakout in ACB would stick (i.e.- not prove to be a false breakout/whipsaw signal) then you'd also want to see MJ as well as several of the other pot stocks that I highlighted in today's video breakout as well & as always, impulsive breakouts that occur on 1.5x or better average volume have a much better chance of sticking. Best of luck on the trade.

Good point. I like to use the IB dark green (no shares to short now but maybe soon) & red bar (forget about it...no shares available anywhere) to help confirm potential short-squeeze trades. However, as I right now, IB has TLRY light-green barred, showing at least 1.3k shares to short (although that's not a lot). I'd imagine that stock has been flipping from no shares to only a small number of shares available lately.

Here's my daily chart of EUR/USD with some targets (marked price levels + the blue downtrend line) but I think a decent case for a major top in the $USD/bottom in the Euro can be made & should that prove to be the case, then riding the trend until a significant correction appears likely & imminent might be the best way to go.
