Glad I could help a little, you been a BIG help to me. I also prefer to use the continuous contracts, I wish TWS could be more like TOS whose long term charts are rock solid. Also TWS puts a HUGE strain on my graphic card when using multiple monitors. TOS is installed in the computer while TWS is a virtual machine, I think IBKR software design choices cause a lot of problems. Increasing memory setting helps a little.

All good points. One from yesterday I was looking at was KOLD thinking that was the best risk reward and sure enough this morning 18% Rise. But it cuts both ways if that wasn't right sized.

Remember, the recent lows from 9/6 are the <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Benefit Of The Doubt (support or resistance)'>BOD</abbr> (benefit of the doubt) or last stand support levels. So far today they ran QQQ & SPY right down to successfully test & bounce off those previous lows. However, my guess is we make another run at them soon & if so, the next time we'll take them out.

Nah. From my experience, if I did that there would always be some relatively inexperienced trader or newbie to the site that will plow everything into that trade. I try hard to have several different, uncorrelated trade ideas highlighted at any given time although I'll never force a trade just for the sake of posting content. I also do my best to convey how much I like a trade & which one's have above average gain (or loss) potential & nice <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Risk-to-Reward Ratio. e.g.- a 3:1 R/R would entail risking $1 of loss for every $3 of profit potential on the trade.'>R/R</abbr>'s. I always try to spread my bets whether swing trading or investing, especially when trading very volatile things like nat gas, crude, crypto, etc.. as just a day or two on the wrong side of those guys without other positions to offset the losses can shake even the strongest hands out of a trade right at the wrong time.

No, what happens is that in a fast moving market or if the analysis/trade ideas in a video might be time-sensitive, I post the video as soon as the thumbnail images are rendered on YouTube's servers. At that point, the video may still only be available to play in 360p (low-def) but YouTube continues to render (process) the video & it will be able to play in 720p (HD) usually after 5 minutes or so, depending on the length of the video & how busy their servers are.

When the video is blurry, click on the settings cog at the lower left of the video & if 720p isn't available, try refreshing the page until it is.

Thanks so much for sharing that. I just switched /NQ from the continuous (Dec) to the regular Dec contract & the false shadow on the 5-min went away. Much appreciated. Only downside is that TWS often has spotty candles when using the non-continuous contract of the same month, especially on less actively traded commodities, hence my preference to normally use the continuous for charting & trading (although IB does a horrible job of continuing to label the previous contract as the continuous well past the roll date & right up to expiration which has caused me to enter nearly expired/post-rolled contracts on more than one occasion).
