Well, nobody ever went broke taking a profit & we do have negative divergences forming on the 60m chart of QQQ so probably not a bad idea to book partial or full profits here. We could certainly pop up to T4 (318) on QQQ tomorrow but that's only just above 1% from where QQQ closed & is still trading in the AH session.

Personally, I sold the /NQ in my trading account shortly before the close & then all shares of AMZN across multiple personal & family accounts in the AH session (as it hit my 2nd & preferred target but the orders on many of those accounts were only set to sell in the regular session). I also sold (for the first time since reversing off the lows a few weeks ago) some but not all of my QLD & TQQQ in those accounts. Bottom line, happy to book some quick & healthy gains here & fine if QQQ continues higher but will also look to add back those shares if we get a decent pullback soon. The R/R at this time is not nearly as attractive as it was a week or so ago although I do still believe there is more upside in the coming weeks for those willing to ride out the pullbacks.

Randy, I am long QQQ. Do you suggest selling half at $317 and half at $330? or just hold for higher targets?

ROASO a timeless classic. Martin Pring has a couple of good books including Technical Analysis Explained & Investment Psychology Explained but one of the best resources is actually free; the Chart School at stockcharts.com. It's broken down into small sections covering the basics of TA as well as more advanced concepts, indicators, chart patterns, etc.. Easy to go thru a few sections each night or whenever & I'll often go back in to reference a particular chart pattern or indicator. https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php

I have read some books like 'Reminiscence of a stock operator' and 'Marketing Wizards'. What other good books do you highly recommend reading to improve on trading and investment?
