I’m not sure exactly what type of account you’re referring to, but generally, managing money for others (as a fund manager) is an extremely onerous, time-consuming, & costly process that requires extensive licensing, accounting, legal, & other structures to be put in place.

I love trading for my own account but wouldn’t deal with the headaches, regulation, accounting, having to hire employees/outside legal & accounting firms, etc., for all the money in the world. I would lose the freedom, which is a big part of why I love what I do.

I was a licensed investment advisor (financial advisor, not fund manager) for about 15 years after college, but swapped buying & selling stocks & bonds for others to doing it for myself, & much happier since.

Yes, the QQQ swing short trade based on the 60m chart hit the first price target, bounced back to around the entry point, and has not exceeded any reasonable stop (using a favorable R/R) based on the initial entry. As such, it remains an active short trade.

Here’s a 60m chart of SOXX, with the most objective short entry that I can see at this time to come on a solid break below this minor uptrend line. I would also suggest watching last week’s video coverage of SOXX & the top holdings to set price alerts on breaks below the uptrend lines & other nearby key support levels on the leading semi stocks that haven’t already broken down like some of the others. The more that break down, the better the odds the sector will correct.

Hi .randy, have you ever thought about opening up a trading account for members to buy into? Eg. Starting accounts at 25k. I see alot of these for ES trading. I surely would be in. Might be a way for all of us to add into our accounts.
