I'll see what I can do, at least try to touch on that in the next video. Basically, if a stock has been climbing in an uptrend for quite a while, especially if overbought (on the RSI and/or any other indicator) and/or sentiment seems extremely bullish (or take all of that in reverse for a stock in a downtrend), then you simply look at some of the momentum indicators (PPO & RSI or my go-to's but there are others) to see if they are making lower-highs along with prices making higher highs (at the same points in time).

Again, I'll try to touch on that in one of the upcoming videos.

it's all good. I recently learned the difference in an embarrassing situation.

maybe it was stupid to buy at the close, but it just doesn't seem like Iran has any real capabilities to do damage to Israel. And Israel is quite clear that they only care about the nukes. Not trying to blow up oil fields or anything. Who knows. I'm just looking for a pop on Monday or Tuesday then off to the next trade.

My ask was more for the next support which when broken, OSCR is no longer a buy. I appreciate the response though. I see a good support at 13.50 ish .. just wanted to see what Randy thinks. Thanks.

My bad. I meant to say Muslims, referring to how (once again, at the risk of generalizing & not to offend anyone) that there is no love lost between the Islamic majority leadership & populace in Iran & Jewish leadership & populace in Israel. Again, speaking to the majority, not the entire populace of each country.

My point was that the Israel strikes on Iran are only the first salvo with at minimum, a retaliatory response(s) to come from Iran, with the risk of escalation & beyond what the market has priced in today, including but not limited to the increasing price of crude oil.

Sure. OSCR is pretty much exactly where it was when posted as a trade idea on June 4th (chart below, along with the updated chart), which is just above the S1 (1st support) level. As such, the suggested stop for that entry or an entry on this next pullback to that level following the recent pop above it would be the same (somewhat below the S2 support around 11.33). Again, that assumes an entry around this level if targeting T2 with a higher stop if only targeting T1.

Your stop loss is based on your entry price and what target you are shooting for. If you are going for T1=18.14, and your entry is $14.50. The delta is $3.64. If you go for a 3:1 risk reward, you divide $3.64/3 = $1.21. So your stop loss would be $13.29. If you are shooting for T2 or higher, your stop loss will adjust downward.
You are risking $1.21 to make $3.64.
