Somewhat related is last week’s Commitment of Traders report showing the most bearish S&P positioning among non-commercial traders since September 2007. Interesting that they ended up being right. Maybe following the crowd isn’t always a bad thing…

I’m hearing nothing but gloom and doom. Even Tom Lee, the most bullish bull in any market, came out last week with a “caution” note. The mainstream media always has their puppets who are always dedicated to the bullish side, but more and more both the guests and regulars are becoming cautious, if not outright bearish and pessimistic.
