In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/swing-trade-ideas-5-27-26/#comment-39108">fcel</a>.

I can't provide individual investment advice, although I'm always glad to share my thoughts. If I were in KEEL with a nice profit, I'd set a stop-loss somewhat below, either on an intraday break or no more than on a solid daily close below the current <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An uptrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of higher highs & higher lows.'>uptrend</abbr> line on this daily chart.

Although quite overbought & with negative divergences building against price & the momentum indicators, the stock is in a clear uptrend without any sell signals at this time. I would also consider cutting it loose if/when /NQ as well as QQQ, solid trigger the next sell signals that I've recently posted to be on watch for, including a solid break below this uptrend line on QQQ (60m chart below).

One thing to consider is that with the precarious proximity to those potential sell signals on both QQQ & KEEL, a big gap down below the trendline on KEEL, especially with a big drop in the /NQ futures overnight, leading to a big gap down in QQQ, can't be ruled out.

Congrats on the trade so far & best of luck going forward!

Randy,
Given the current market environment, your thoughts on KEEL. I bought it at $2.50. Should I place a stop loss limit at, say $5, and let it run, or prepare to short soon? Thx.

Would love to know a sentiment indicator here for the overall stock market. Are folks here:

1. Aggressively long: More than 75% in long positions which can include a mix of 3x ETFs, momentum trade stocks (Semis and AI stocks), some bottom pickers, or just holding the indices. Looking to hold. (Me)

2. Cautiously long: Waiting on a pullback to buy, holding but not putting in more money on longs or only buying underperformers. Only partially in the market and sitting on a good amount of cash. Scalping moves on the way up.

3. Sidelined: Mostly cash and uncertain or entirely focused on trades outside of the stock market

4. Cautiously short: Taking a few shots here or there trying to short the market but mostly in cash

5. Aggressively short: Mostly in short positions, kind of the inverse of #1
