It’s not “buying blindly” as you call it. Anyone could have seen that this initial breakout came out of a multi month trading range and after a failed breakdown. It is under the context of a bearish divergence, but unless you break down under the trading range again there is no reason to sell in that initial trade.

If you reversed course and shorted after any level is breached and you would never make meaningful money in a bull market, which will continuously break new highs. So even now I’m looking to buy when there is a breakdown to a T1 or a T2, and holding for new highs. I do not have the time to sell longs or short at every breakdown, especially when I see a one step down and a two or three or four steps up market. Keeping most of my money long and trade/rotate a subset of it if I think a sector or stock will outperform. If I see signals to start pulling money out I will do so but now is not the time for me.
