I wish this was comment 1 instead of 160 but after reading through all this drivel I had to comment. Quite honestly most of you people commenting on here should not even be trading let alone trusted with the written word. You blame Randy for buying shit like sqqq and fngd. Randy puts out a bearish call so you proceed to load up in triple leveraged bullshit and then ridicule him for the past week while he is on a vacation. The nasdaq is up less than ten percent in the last 4 months. The spy less than one percent. Down 30 percent in 5 days and you blame that on Randy. Down 95 percent since 2018 following rsotc. Down 60 percent since last October. Shocking. You should quit and invest in a good Christmas fund. Grow up and take responsibility for your own decisions and may I say stupidity/greed. I may write more but for the moment I am somewhat speechless. I am thrilled with Randy's analysis and I hope he keeps trading and offering rsotc service for many more years.

What the market has shown us since Oct 22 is that everything is noise. Be dumb and follow price. Forget trying to be Fed/Macro expert. It doesnt matter. If things change, then we'll start seeing lower highs and lower lows but for now, everything is very bullish. Buy the dips coming up. Dont be overly negative, hasnt paid at all.

Well! I don't think our job is to listen to the news and predicts what the Fed is going to do. I think our job is to looks at the charts and figure out the odds based on technicals and get in and out with 1-2 weeks because news like this will come forever and ever.

If we are a long term trader than we probably need to keep us updated with fundamentals.

Indeed. This week alone, interest rate markets took away one full rate cut that had been priced into December, and now trading at only one 25bps rate cut by year end. Also took out a little more than a full rate cut for Dec'24, as well. Economic data this week shows improvement, so no reason for the Fed to cut anytime soon, but also no reason to get very bearish on equities just yet, unless you believe these higher rates warrant lower multiples in the most overvalued stocks.

Powell spoke at 11:00 am today (Fri). One of his comments that stood out was...

"INFLATION IS FAR ABOVE FED OBJECTIVE"

I totally agree. Price increases at the grocery store have not subsided one bit.
So it sounds like another 25bp hike on June 14 unless something dramatically changes.
As of today only 40% of analysts think the FED will raise rates next month.
It may take a little wind out of the sails of the bull market as we near the 14th.
But today the market hardly blinked.
So looks like the bull market continues, and will probably shrug off the rate hike after a small pullback.
Also watch out...Nvidia announces earnings next Wednesday, the 24th. If they are good, the semis could take another leg higher

Not sure if everyone here is reading all the comments or not but I have mentioned this before as well that relying on RSI and PPO divergence is not sufficient to make the decision to buy or sell any stocks or etfs. It only means the the momentum is slowing down and can pick up the same momentum in the same direction.

I attached the chart as well in the previously conversation thread where we had big divergence on SPY and QQQ (in both PPO and RSI) and yet QQQ rallied 23% and SPY rallied 17% roughly in the past after the clean divergence appeared in the Daily TF.

I still cannot believe why Randy proxy chart is QQQ while we all know how handful of stocks weighs more than 50% of the index and to be honest I think those handful of stocks will do better in any market conditions which could easily drive index higher.

Now I am more focused on Russell 2000 simply bcoz we do not have that problem. The top 10 Holding weighs only 3.45% on the index.

I have been trading for the past 7 years and I have learned so many things about trading reading many many books. And I must say I have improve a lot as well. I joined rsotc simply bcoz to learn and to improve my return on the investment but instead its killing me and my family now...

I hope all us can learn from my mistakes and never put all the eggs in one basket which I honestly admit is totally my fault.

Its hard to believe market has rallied so much not to mention about the Big Caps and the Semis.

Not sure if Randy is even aware of this Mega bull run in recent 4 days but I do believe he mentioned if something major changes occur he will updates us and I am sure market has turned completely now and yet here we are sitting blindly waiting for his TA!

I find it absolutely disgusting that we have not had a short post in respect to this melt up ; irrespective of him being on holiday.... a complete disrespect to those who have trusted and followed him. I am noticing this is a pattern when things go wrong with a trade ..... numerous times i have posted questions on this forum regarding trades in a nasty negative position - to which they were ignored. Natural Gas is one of several i recall - particularly earlier this year. i started to take it personally ... thinking maybe i pissed him off .... until i started seeing others posting similar questions about trades going bad and asking what is he doing with his trade on it, obviously the person seeking advice and direction to assist their decision, but they never got responses. that is appalling

At this point, with how much I've lost in the 6 years I've been doing this full-time, a break would mean I've lost every cent. I might be down 95%, but I'm still in the game. I'll wait and take a break when I've made some money and can afford to close these trades for smaller losses, or am able to effectively hedge the losses down to zero. Too many live trades to just take a break. But I do appreciate the sentiment. Thank you.

At this point, with how much I’ve lost in the 6 years I’ve been doing this full-time, a break would mean I’ve lost every cent. I might be down 95%, but I’m still in the game. I’ll wait and take a break when I’ve made some money and can afford to close these trades for smaller losses, or am able to effectively hedge the losses down to zero. Too many live trades to just take a break. But I do appreciate the sentiment. Thank you.

Jeff, might be time to take a mental health break. Not good to be in the market with strong feelings. Revenge trading never works.

In the mean time, you may want to consider trading much smaller positions to get your confidence back. I've blown up my accounts about 3 or 4 times. I've had to take years off to recover mentally.

I thought Trump would be bad for stocks because of his leadership style. Shorted the shit out of the market and held on thinking the trend would change. nope!

Good for you :-) ...... Maybe we should start trying to learn from you instead of ..... i have lost that much on MNQ alone in these shorts that are waiting for the 30% fall that is appearing more and more like a dream/nightmare .... and then there is SOXX shorts, SPY shorts.... I have been worried that just as i exit out - the market then falls ..... but after the action today - my stops are being hit and that is gut wretching.I am trying to work out if this melt-up today is by the big institutions to clear out stops and then down it comes ....

You are not alone trade0039 - i am there with you :-( .... having followed Randy on everything .... trusting him .... trying to learn from him ..... and holding out when i see each of his charts with downard arrows and his voice of confidence......and then he is wrong again. I am expecting him to come out with the comment "I just provide analysis" ...which i now find to be an arrogant cop-out....and a lack of respect to those who trust him and are trying to learn from him.

I totally agree - it is disgusting that he hasnt sent out any advice to us on this recent melt-up whilst he has been on holidays .... sure we are responsible for the trades we get into - but we also pay for his advice and to learn from him. His recent comments that "He only provides analysis" is a pathetic and arrogant cop-out - and a complete lack of respect to those who trust and follow to learn from him, and are now bleeding. I have lost so much respect for Randy recently .... not sure how he will gain it back

Today's price action looks like big money is flowing out from the Bonds and the precious metal like gold and silver to the risker assets such as QQQs
