I wish this was comment 1 instead of 160 but after reading through all this drivel I had to comment. Quite honestly most of you people commenting on here should not even be trading let alone trusted with the written word. You blame Randy for buying shit like sqqq and fngd. Randy puts out a bearish call so you proceed to load up in triple leveraged bullshit and then ridicule him for the past week while he is on a vacation. The nasdaq is up less than ten percent in the last 4 months. The spy less than one percent. Down 30 percent in 5 days and you blame that on Randy. Down 95 percent since 2018 following rsotc. Down 60 percent since last October. Shocking. You should quit and invest in a good Christmas fund. Grow up and take responsibility for your own decisions and may I say stupidity/greed. I may write more but for the moment I am somewhat speechless. I am thrilled with Randy's analysis and I hope he keeps trading and offering rsotc service for many more years.

What the market has shown us since Oct 22 is that everything is noise. Be dumb and follow price. Forget trying to be Fed/Macro expert. It doesnt matter. If things change, then we'll start seeing lower highs and lower lows but for now, everything is very bullish. Buy the dips coming up. Dont be overly negative, hasnt paid at all.

Well! I don't think our job is to listen to the news and predicts what the Fed is going to do. I think our job is to looks at the charts and figure out the odds based on technicals and get in and out with 1-2 weeks because news like this will come forever and ever.

If we are a long term trader than we probably need to keep us updated with fundamentals.

Indeed. This week alone, interest rate markets took away one full rate cut that had been priced into December, and now trading at only one 25bps rate cut by year end. Also took out a little more than a full rate cut for Dec'24, as well. Economic data this week shows improvement, so no reason for the Fed to cut anytime soon, but also no reason to get very bearish on equities just yet, unless you believe these higher rates warrant lower multiples in the most overvalued stocks.

Powell spoke at 11:00 am today (Fri). One of his comments that stood out was...

"INFLATION IS FAR ABOVE FED OBJECTIVE"

I totally agree. Price increases at the grocery store have not subsided one bit.
So it sounds like another 25bp hike on June 14 unless something dramatically changes.
As of today only 40% of analysts think the FED will raise rates next month.
It may take a little wind out of the sails of the bull market as we near the 14th.
But today the market hardly blinked.
So looks like the bull market continues, and will probably shrug off the rate hike after a small pullback.
Also watch out...Nvidia announces earnings next Wednesday, the 24th. If they are good, the semis could take another leg higher

Not sure if everyone here is reading all the comments or not but I have mentioned this before as well that relying on RSI and PPO divergence is not sufficient to make the decision to buy or sell any stocks or etfs. It only means the the momentum is slowing down and can pick up the same momentum in the same direction.

I attached the chart as well in the previously conversation thread where we had big divergence on SPY and QQQ (in both PPO and RSI) and yet QQQ rallied 23% and SPY rallied 17% roughly in the past after the clean divergence appeared in the Daily TF.

I still cannot believe why Randy proxy chart is QQQ while we all know how handful of stocks weighs more than 50% of the index and to be honest I think those handful of stocks will do better in any market conditions which could easily drive index higher.

Now I am more focused on Russell 2000 simply bcoz we do not have that problem. The top 10 Holding weighs only 3.45% on the index.

I have been trading for the past 7 years and I have learned so many things about trading reading many many books. And I must say I have improve a lot as well. I joined rsotc simply bcoz to learn and to improve my return on the investment but instead its killing me and my family now...

I hope all us can learn from my mistakes and never put all the eggs in one basket which I honestly admit is totally my fault.
