Best of luck. While I can't provide individual investment advice, I would urge anyone to consider the benefits of diversification, even within a swing trading account (multiple positions in various asset classes, long & short positions, & exposure to the most bearish (short) and bullish (long) stocks & sectors on the equity portion.

The other thing to consider is PLAN B... what if the market tanks on AAPL & AMZN earnings? Will you still buy those QQQ puts at much higher prices after the $VIX (and both the strike plus volatility premium on those puts surge?)

That's why I like scaling into long-term shorts right now vs. trying to pick an exact price/moment to do so.

Yes, TLT broke below the <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An uptrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of higher highs & higher lows.'>uptrend</abbr> line yesterday (I believe it was), I had covered it in a video then & again today with TLT at the first price target/support at the time (in today's earlier video).

In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/swing-trade-ideas-5-1-25/#comment-35676">devnat</a>.

The answer to your first question depends on what time frame you are asking about. If you are looking out long-term (1-2 yrs), then I think QQQ has another 46% downside to my T7 target on the weekly chart from current levels. Shorter-term, the 60m & daily charts will be my guide to micro-manage that longer-term swing/trend trade in order to cover and/or reverse when significant (high-single digit to low double-digit) counter-trend rallies are likely.

To your second request, here's my weekly chart of AMZN with my long-term price targets. As with the majority of market-leading stocks as well as the major stock indices, even if AMZN just takes out that first support around 155 & drops down to my next long-term support/target around 124.55, it will also have then taken out that primary secular bull market trendline from it's IPO all the way back in the late 90's. At that point, it will be safe to say that the secular bull trend in AMZN (and the stock market) is most likely over with a new secular bear market that is likely to span up to a decade or more now underway.

Few, if any believe that is possible but that only makes me more confident in my long-term outlook as such as dramatic drop in AMZN & the stock market can only happen if few believe (and more importantly, few position for) it. Of course, I will take the charts one support & resistance level (each as the come, and/or break, at a time), positioning accordingly as the charts develop).
