PS. You used to provide good trades resulting in trending moves. Gold has been one such trade, really easy money. You may be able to offer trades when you see them. I am watching USD (EURUSD), /CL for a reversal.Grains should start trending but they have not: too many index short-only funds sell small pops and bury the price back down.

Indexes are not a good option for trending this year: they refuse to go down further, and do not go back up. I have not had much luck with them this year.

with futures you could close at any time you need to. However, EW suggests more upside because the move is clearly impulsive and wave 3.

Correct. In the last couple of (video) updates on the VIXY, I highlighted my “re-entry” or scale-back-in zone which runs from this week’s low VIXY down to but not below the 52.70ish level.

The top of that scale-in zone coincides with the bottom of my bounce target/scale-back-in-short zone for QQQ that I’ve also covered in recent videos. Here’s that daily chart with the zone in purple (as well as the previous re-entry zone after T1 was hit).

Not an ideal form for a H&S on that daily of UNG, IMO, and more so, H&S patterns are topping patterns. As such, I don’t put much stock into them unless I see them forming after a prolonged uptrend. Nat gas is just coming off a major bear market bottom.
