Hi Randy, you're probably right. I just keep thinking that things happen quicker and quicker all the time. Some people describe BTFP as TARP light. I don't think there is anything light about it. To me it's TARP on steroids. TARP was introduced in very early October 2008. The market still went down another 30% from there. I just think the evil banksters cut their teeth on TARP and are fully prepared to use BTFP to excess even before it was announced. And don't forget on March 15, 2020, the Federal Reserve Board announced that reserve requirements ratios would be set to 0%, effective March 26, 2020. Turn in any asset for free money at face value, no reserves, what's to stop them??

Expect more & more intervention with the market's responses (rallies) diminishing with each one. The intervention has only just started & will continue. Once we get to the point where you start to hear increasing cries from the idiots in DC to ban short-selling, we'll be getting close but not all the way to the next tradable bottom.

Agreed, definitely a bifurcated market, at least between the technical posture of what I consider the two 'main' indexes: $SPX & $NDX with the former falling back below its primary bear market <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='A downtrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of lower lows & lower highs.'>downtrend</abbr> line as well as both the 200-day SMA & <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An exponential moving average (EMA) is a type of moving average that is similar to a simple moving average, except that more weight is given to the latest data. This type of moving average reacts faster to recent price changes than a simple moving average. (source: investopedia.com)'>EMA</abbr> while the $NDX is riding just above all 3.

As such, still not an "all-in" short moment yet. Essentially, tech & the tech-heavy $NDX started the bear market, vastly outperformed to the downside in the initial leg down into the Oct lows while the more diversified $SPX outperformed (fell much less) due to several key sectors holding up relatively well.

As I've previously stated, the next big leg down isn't/wasn't likely to come until the 'rest' of the stock market rolls over & that appears to be what we're finally starting to see lately (industrials, healthcare, financials, etc..). If that trend continues, as I suspect, tech will ultimately get dragged down with the rest of the lot.

Quite often, the videos will still default to the original 360p, if I posted them before the were fully processed on YT's servers, even if the page is refreshed. Try refreshing the page & then click on the settings icon & manually selecting 720p HD (I just did on the vid above & it worked).

I'm hoping that /NQ does go lower, as I am very short the market, but the daily chart looks so very bullish as it finds support above all moving averages, as the 50 and 200 MAs both curl upwards after making a golden cross, all the while consolidating in a bullish looking flag pattern. I'm afraid I am short the wrong sectors, but at this point, other sectors, like XLF and XLI, have already moved too much to take a short position.
