Hello Randy!

I wanted to make a request on education on how we can trade only index such as QQQ and SPY for Active Trade (Holding trade for 1 to 3 days).

I have beed doing a lot of readings and research, and so far my strategy has been to take the trade when there is RSI or PPO Divergence in 15 min and a break of a trendline with 1:2 Risk to Reward ratio.

So far the test result is showing over 50% win rate but that is with old data and I'm not sure the result will be same when trading in real time.

Can you please share your ideas and strategy on how you trade (Active Trade)?

Thanks,
Sujan

In reply to Mikeflegel.

CRM hit T1, consolidated for a few days on & just below it, then broke above it on the 1st & has successfully backtested & held above it since.

Normally, I'd say that is very bullish & this is still an objective time to hold or add to the position (here just above T1, former resistance, now support). However, with the indexes falling to those key uptrend lines today & the $VIX breaking out & closing above the bullish falling wedge pattern (i.e.- the stock market is in a very precarious position & could break down tomorrow or next week)... coupled with the fact that CRM is coming off extreme overbought conditions on the daily chart with what appears to be a likely imminent high-level bearish PPO crossover, best to take profits if you haven't already or at least raise stops to protect them as a solid break & drop below T1 seems likely IMO.
